Aims & Objectives of our service
To address issues of loneliness and social isolation
To increase the mental health and wellbeing of service users
To assist people to remain living at home for longer
To address worries, fears and concerns of the service users and their families
To disseminate information to service-users
To sign post people on to other services and social supports, such as Community day care, Active age Groups etc.
To act as an alert system: if there is no response from service-user
To advocate on behalf of vulnerable service-users
To assist people suffering through bereavement and loss and to direct, when necessary, towards more specialised supports e.g. Grief Counselling.
